Sting's Philadelphia shows rescheduled for November

Sting at The Met  on May 1 and 2 has been rescheduled to November 23 and 24 respectively. If you purchased tickets for these events, your ticket will be honored for the rescheduled date. For any further ticket inquiries, please reach out to your original point of purchase.

In light of the evolving coronavirus situation in Washington, D.C. and in conformance with the citywide ban on gatherings of 250 people or more, Sting starring in The Last Ship, originally scheduled for March 27-April 5, 2020, will not play as planned. Instead, we are working to reschedule The Last Ship for a yet-to-to-determined future date. All tickets purchased through the National Theatre Box Office and Etix will remain valid for the future engagement of The Last Ship once rescheduled.

Sting recorded a laid-back cover of Otis Redding’s “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay.” The release marks the first installment of the Alzheimer’s Association’s “Music Moments,” a project where artists tackle songs they appreciate on an emotional level. Throughout the track, Sting whistles and croons over an acoustic guitar and soft waves of brass.
